$250,000 of Funding for Public Goods
Retroactive Public Goods Funding (RPGF) is a novel funding mechanism designed to sustainably support projects that deliver significant public good.
Unlike traditional grants, RPGF allocates funds retroactively, rewarding projects that have already demonstrated positive impact. The process begins with the clear identification of criteria that define a public good.
Funding allocation is then determined through a voting process involving a diverse set of community delegates who ensure that funds are directed towards initiatives that have already delivered real impact to the community.

During this period, anyone can nominate projects by submitting a project name, a description of its impact, and relevant links to Github or Twitter on the forum. OpenBlock will be conducting a rolling review of all nominations received during this timeframe.
Delegates will receive a manual and are required to evaluate and cast their votes for the nominated projects using a designated voting form during this phase. Votes are counted by OpenBlock.
In this phase, all votes will be tallied, and a final list of projects, along with their corresponding funding amounts, will be published based on utilizing a quadratic funding methodology.
The distribution of funds to the projects listed in the final results will be executed during this period.
